John Brandon Jr.

John Brandon Jr. was the son of John M. Brandon, Sr. and Mary Lawson of Albemarle Co. VA. He married three times. His third wife was Dinah ? (I can't read her surname from the copy that I have, but it looks like Beett.)

They had two children: Thomas Jefferson Brandon b. 5 March 1806, in Greenville or Spartanburg County, SC married Martha Jane B. (again I can't read the last name). This source says that John Brandon Jr. and Dinah ? married on 17 September 1800 in Knox co, TN where she was born abt. 1783. Dinah died in 1813. He states that Dinah's mother's surname was Evans.

The other son was George Washington Brandon b. 20 October 1808 in Greenville or Spartanburg Co. SC married Kesiah Fowler 6 Oct. 1831. George Washington Brandon died 1849.
