Longview is a community located in a northern portion of Bedford County in Middle Tennessee.
It is adjacent to Rutherford County, and it has had close connection with some of the communities in that county as well.
A committee has been working on writing the history of the area.
Submissions for family history stories are being accepted. The committee will also accept other interesting stories, historical articles, old pictures, or anything of interest about the history of Longview and nearby areas. Please don't wait. Our target deadline for submissions is Nov. 30, 2009. This is a once in a lifetime chance to see your history published so that it will not be lost as time passes by.
