BIRDIE MABEL JOHNSONBirdie Mabel Johnson was born March 8, 1887 in Ohio and died March 15, 1923 in Logan West Virginia. She is buried at Peach Creek. She was married to Edmound Simon White. He was born Jan. 17, 1891 at Peck's Mill, WV and died Nov. 12, 1952. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Peck's Mill. They were the parents of Goldie (Cleg) White b. about 1910, Leonard Clifton White b. 1912 d. 1972, Harry Stollie White b. 1914 d. 2003, Clarence W. White b. Nov. 2, 1916 d. April 4, 1918 buried Hughey? WV, Eamon Earston White b. 1918 d. 1986 buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill WV, Dorothy Mae White b. April 19, 1921 d. July 8, 1922 buried at Peach Creek, WV, and Alberta Elizabeth White b. Jan. 23, 1923 d. Feb. 11, 1989.Birdie Mabel Johnson was the daughter of John B. Johnson b. June 29, 1859 in Ohio d. Mar. 6, 1933 at Peach Creek, Logan, WV and is buried in Myrtle Cemetery in Ohio and Sarah E. Gore b. 1865 in Ohio. Sarah and another daughter named Piney b. abt. 1883 lived in Logan at least until after the death of John B. Johnson. I suspect that since Birdie Mabel and John had died, Sarah and Piney may have moved back to Ohio. I have found no West Virginia death records for either of these ladies. John B. Johnson was the son of Thomas and Eliza Lewis Johnson. Thomas was born in Virginia and Eliza in Ohio. My information has come from research of census, birth, and death records.
